A recent study has been undertaken by 'Whole Foods'. They examined the consumer behavior of around 500 stores across the globe. They have decided to introduce purple foods in particular to the shelves of these grocery stores. They have described this circumstance as a fast growing trend. Purple foods are appearing everywhere in the market these days such as Purple Asparagus, Purple Cauliflower, Purple sweet potatoes, Purple corn, Acai, elder berries, black rice and cereal.
To support this study, it has been found that, people who ate purple food (fruits and vegetables) on a regular basis, had a reduced risk of getting high blood pressure and maintained good (low) cholesterol.

Purple Sweet Potatoes:
Sweet potatoes have always been known for the numerous health benefits they carry. However, these Purple Sweet potatoes hold within themselves even more benefits.
