Extra-virgin olive oil is an anti-inflammatory and natural antioxidant which helps in keeping cells and blood vessels healthy and strong, Whilst being a great source of Vitamin E and beta carotene. Researchers say that a diet rich in Extra virgin olive oil- such as a Mediterranean diet which also tends to be rich in vegetables, legumes, and whole grains-may also end up lowering the risk to one's health of cancer greatly.

Olive oil has been proved to improve the health of our bones, the functioning of our brain and digestive health. Extra virgin olive oil also assists in slowing down the growth of “bad” bacteria in the gut, whilst encouraging the growth of beneficial belly flora.
