What actually is Apple Cider vinegar?
Apple juice is fermented to make apple cider, which is further fermented to turn into Apple cider Vinegar. Not every Apple Cider Vinegar that you find at the local supermarket is real. Most are pasteurized, refined or distilled to appear more appealing to customers. Unfortunately, this destroys the health benefits that were in the Vinegar in the first place.
Apple Cider Vinegar has numerous amounts of health benefits for us all to take advantage of, it may prove beneficial for:
- Acid Reflex Syndrome

- Arthritis
- Athlete’s foot
- Candida (yeast)

1. Hair:
It is widely known that Apple Cider Vinegar can be used as a rinse for your hair, to add healthy body and shine to it.
2. Face:
Apple Cider Vinegar helps to regulate the PH balance of our skin. Here is how to apply it to your face;
Dilute 1 part Apple Cider Vinegar with 2 parts of water and spread this over your face with a cotton ball to act as a toner for your skin.
3. Teeth:
Apple Cider Vinegar is also very good for our teeth and can be used as a mouthwash.
All you have to do is:
Add one ounce of Apple Cider Vinegar to 6 ounces of Water and use this as a gargle.
4. Digestion, Gas and Bloating:
Apple Cider Vinegar contains malice acid which can help sort out digestive issues like constipation and acid-reflux.
5. Sleep issues:
If you have problems with sleep; not being able to sleep early or getting any sleep at all without taking sleeping pills (as is the case for those in old age) try out this method;
Take one tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar in a cup of hot water with tablespoon Honey and drink this up before going to bed. Apple Cider Vinegar has sleep inducing powers and also allows for a more restful sleep, without any side effects of course.
6. Weight loss:
Apple Cider Vinegar can act as an aid for weight loss. It is said to help you feel “fuller” which further allows you to eat less.
Apple Cider Vinegar Detox:
All you need is:
- Apple Cider Vinegar (raw and unfiltered) 3 tbsp
- Water about 1 L or to fill up your Jug
- Cinnamon powder 2 tsp
- Natural sweetener 2 drop or Honey 1 tbsp
- A jug full of ice (Ice isn’t necessary)
Pour water into the Jug. Add all the ingredients to it. You may add some Lemon to it too if you like, or a little bit of apple juice (reducing the amount of water you put into it). Stir up the drink and enjoy this to refreshes your day.
