Aging is preventable if you are willing to follow the tips and technique.
As we begin to age, our skin goes through a natural wear-and-tear process, just like the rest of our bodies. However, what we think of as natural aging is in fact the damaging of skin due to sun exposure and other factors. Don't worry, that isn't bad news. This just proves that it can be avoided - and it's never too late to start!
Avoidable Aging of Skin
The ultraviolet rays or UV rays from the sun go deep into our skin. They then begin to damage the elastic fibers that are there to protect our skin and to keep it in one place. This allows wrinkles to form. The light from the sun may also be held responsible for age spots or "liver spots" on the hands, face, and other sun-exposed areas.
The amount of wrinkles that begin to form, and how strongly they show, can be judged by one's lifetime sun exposure. Although its impossible for us to go back in time and put sunscreen on our free from worries 10-year-old selves, we may stop the damage that's occurring now:
- Stop going sunbathing purposely. Suntan means that skin damage has occurred.
- Make sure to always put on sunscreen.
- Wear a hat that protects you from direct sunlight. Wear clothes that cover most of your body to protect your skin from any direct sun interaction
- Avoid going out in the day to avoid unnecessary contact with the sun, especially between the timings of 10 a.m. and 3 p.m..when the suns rays are the strongest.
